The demand for qualified people trained in the field of film and video has blossomed in the past five years.  This is due in no small way to the fact that the Internet is becoming home to so many video and filmed presentations in this day and age.  Indeed, the trend towards online video is expected to grow even more significantly through the end of the decade.

A typical course of education in film and video today involves obtaining a bachelors degree.  Depending on the specific occupation a person wishes to pursue, a certification program may suffice. Moreover, in some instances -- particular when it comes to film production -- advanced degrees are becoming more common all of the time.

Job opportunities vary when it comes to film and video.  Most people can be found working for production companies although there are other option available to the qualified man or woman.
