A certified nurse aid can also be faced with job-related dangers such as acquiring infections and catching the patient’s disease. Those who work at a patient’s house may be staying there for long periods of time which could become years. Those who are working in residents will still be under supervision but they almost always work alone.

To become a nursing assistant, it is required to have a diploma from high school. For those who will be working at residents, the need for that diploma is not that strict. Some hospitals may demand from applicants some experience. For those inexperienced, they are likely to undergo training. The training can be acquired from technical-vocational centers, nursing care facilities, in high school, and in community colleges. A certified nurse aide should have good health, likes to help people, dependable, stable emotionally, have lots of understanding, patient, and tactful.

A lot of job positions are held by nurse assistants. A nursing assistant has a large percentage of being found in nursing care facilities compared to hospitals. The percentage of those working at the patients’ residents is even higher that of those working in hospitals. A staff nurse job is numerous. Most nursing assistants are working only part time so there is a need of many replacements. This ongoing replacement needs just show that there is slow advancement in this career. There is also low pay that does not help much on too high expectations from a person’s emotions and physical capabilities. Employment rate will be growing faster than average.
