At the dawn of the computer age, the first occupation that really developed as the use of the computer became widespread was that of a computer programming specialist.  Indeed, through the years, the computer programming specialist has become one of the most important professionals in the entire information technology profession.

In this day and age, the typical entry level computer programming specialist has a bachelors degree.  However, in this high tech era, there are many computer programming specialists that have masters and even doctorate degrees in the arena of computer programming.  The degree a person has bears directly on that person’s ability to draw a high salary.
