Technical Design and CADD

In recent times, Computer Aiding Drafting and Design or CADD has become a predominate means through which construction related design is undertaken.  To this end, the technical design and CADD field has been growing by leaps and bounds.

A person interested in a career in technical design and CADD has a number of different educational options available to him or her.  There are certification programs that offer people training in technical design and CADD.  In addition, there are associates degree programs for people interested in a career in technical design and CADD.  In some limited instances, there are bachelors degree programs for people who want to pursue a career in technical design and CADD -- although those bachelors degree programs are not widely used even at this point in time.

The salary associated with a position in technical design and CADD is governed both by education and by experience.
