Legal Services

A degree or certification in legal services involves a broad ranging course of education.  Generally speaking there are two study and degree options available to a person interested in legal services.  This includes certification programs that take only a matter of months to complete.  In addition, there are now associate degree options available to people who are interested in pursuing a career in legal services.

Employment in the realm of legal services provides a person with the chance to provide support services in a number of different settings:  government, private sector and even in the not for profit sector.  A person engaged in a career in legal services will have the ability to get a broad experience in nearly all facets of the profession. 

The wages and salaries associated with a career in legal services are mid range when contrasted with such other related professions as that of a paralegal or legal assistant.  Many people enter into a career in legal services a prelude to pursuing careers in other areas of the law of criminal justice system.
