Selecting a Career:  Your EQ

As you go about considering what career will be most appropriate for you, you will want to consider your EQ and how your EQ will impact your career choice.  EQ stands for emotional intelligence quotient. 

While the definition of EQ remains a bit influx at the present time, a fairly standard definition of EQ essentially provides that EQ “describes an ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups.”

You will want to keep this in mind, you will want to keep your EQ in mind when you go about considering different careers and different courses of education that you will need to pursue to achieve the career that is best suited to your personality and your ability to work individually and with other people.  By coming to a better understanding of your EQ, and by better understanding how your EQ relates to educational and career choices, you will be on a clear path to a satisfying career experience.
