Conflict Resolution and Mediation

The field of conflict resolution has been growing by proverbial leaps and bounds in recent years.  Conflict resolution and dispute resolution has become big business in the 21st century.  People with degrees and certifications in conflict resolution are finding work in business arbitration as well as in family law mediations.  Indeed, the employment spectrum that is now open to people with a degree of some sort or another in conflict resolution is broad.

Historically, conflict resolution was a certification program.  However, as the whole area of conflict resolution has become more widely used and important, degree programs have been formulated at colleges and universities.  This now includes associates degrees and bachelors degrees.  There remain certification programs at this point in time as well.

The starting salaries associated with conflict resolution careers vary.  Geography plays a role as does the specific area in which a person becomes involved when it comes to conflict resolution -- corporate, marriage and family law, and the like.

And in the doc for the sub category conflict resolution and mediation, heading contains only conflict resolution.so shud I keep that as it is
