Economics

When it comes to careers in the social science areas, a good share of those career can be found in the field of economics.  A person interested in a career in economics definitely will need a fairly extensive educational foundation.  A person interested in a career in economics would need a minimum of a bachelors degree. 

If you a person really intends to succeed in the arena of economics, that person really needs an advanced degree, most commonly a masters degree and in some instances a PhD.  By obtaining an advanced degree in economics, a person gains more flexibility as to where he or she can gain employment and a person has the chance to obtain a higher salary in the field.

A person interested in engaging in a career in economics has a number of options available in both the public and private sector.  Moreover, there are some people who embark on careers in economics in with foundations and other not for profit organizations that have different agendas relating to the economy, job creation, taxation and the like.
