Leadership and Administration

A person interested in a career in education administration, a person who wants to assume a role in educational leadership, will need an advanced degree.  In the vast majority of cases, if a person wants to pursue a career in education leadership and administration, a minimum of a masters degree is required in this competitive marketplace.  In some instances a bachelors degree will suffice, depending on the position. However, and again, in the vast majority of instances, a masters degree or a PhD is going to be required to succeed in the arena of education leadership and administration.

There is a wide array of different types of education leadership and administration positions available to people in this day and age.  This includes all academic levels -- from elementary schools onward to colleges and universities.  Generally speaking, the possibility for advancement and fairly regular wage and salary increases is solid in many locations.
